I have created this website mostly as a place to show pictures from my travels to friends & family.  I have been interested in photography since high school when I was a student photographer for the school yearbook.  When I went to college I studied computer science and got both a BS and MS degree in that field.  My photography interest took a back seat when I went to work as a software developer for a networking company in Silicon Valley region of Northern California.  Then in 1997 some friends and I decided to get certified for recreational scuba diving.  After getting certified in the chilly waters of Monterey Bay we headed off to La Paz, Mexico for our first dive trip.  I was stunned by the beauty of the underwater world and soon was taking my camera underwater to photograph the amazing sites and creatures.  Since then I have been diving in remote locations around the world (La Paz, Cozumel, Roatan, Fiji, Bahamas, Akumal, Egypt, Indonesia, Bonaire, Curacao, Thailand) and can't wait for the next adventure.
